Welcome to Coast Line Models!
I have been running CLM since 2014, when I started producing etched GWR cabside number plates and 3D printed details for my own projects. I have varied interests, all loosely tied together by a geographical setting in North and Mid Wales and the Borders to the East. This has principally been spurred on because I have lived within a few miles of the Cambrian Railways main line all my life, not to mention the narrow gauge railways herabouts and naturally their raison d’etre, the quarrying of Slate.

My interests in the Cambrian Railways extend pricipally to the pre grouping period, though I do carry on the theme right through to the death of steam. The GWR period and beyond is generally well covered by others, so the majority of my work here is directed towards the original Cambrian Railways Company. Besides what 3D printed wares you see here, I also produce etched products and rub down transfers to help complete the scene.

In 16mm Scale, I have found a scale big enough to really bring out the detail in Industrial narrow gauge. It started out with a Slater’s Quarry Hunslet, for which I produced many new components to model my chosen prototype ‘Red Damsel’. Since then I’ve been expandingm and aim to offer the absolute best, both in accuracy and detail, I can in regards Slate Quarry and general narrow gauge prototypes. To that end I produce many detail parts to improve or enhance kits from other manufacturers, as well as rolling stock designed from the ground up. All feature as much prototype detail and function as the printing process allows – working brakes, opening doors etc are all included where possible! This does make things expensive, but then I have always believed that quality is worth paying for!
